Assistive-listening devices amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. The Holland Center uses an FM stereo system that broadcasts the audio feed through radio frequencies to listening devices within the hall. You may check out a device from the coat check room in the ground floor lobby. There is no charge to use our devices, but a valid ID is required. Please ask an Ambassador for assistance.
The Orpheum Theater uses an inductive loop (T-coil) system that wirelessly transmits sound through magnetic waves to hearing aids with a T-coil setting. A T-coil can be used directly into your hearing aid or you may check out a device at the House Manager’s desk at the Orpheum Theater. There is no charge to use our devices, but a valid ID is required. Please ask an Ambassador for assistance.
Audio Description for patrons with vision loss is provided free of charge in collaboration with Radio Talking Book Service.
